Transforming an End-of-Terrace House

Neglected end terrance remodeled and extended, planning approval for two storey side extension and single storey rear extension takes the main living to the rear with large open plan kitchen dining and en suite main bedroom with walk in wardrobe to the first floor.

This property was in a poor state of repair and poorly extended, it’s appearance detrimental to the street and the wider area. The opportunity arose for the new owner to renovate, extend to make better use of the plot prior to re-sale. The build allowed the property to be extended in a cost efficient manner, achieving the open plan living without the need for complex engineering work. The relatively spacious plot allowed a scheme where budget was allocated to additional floor space rather than alterations to the existing, keeping expensive structural alterations to an absolute minimum. This realised a scheme within budget, best build cost / sale price ratio and ensured a quick sale with a desirable layout. The property now contributes in a positive manner to the street and resulted in a comfortable family home.
